L.2.Mae: Eve Arnold

Now, like a lot of you out there, I am a huge Marilyn Monroe fan and love the behind the scene shots of her and the ones which are caught off guard.

I am either blind or a selective reader because I never knew who the amazing photographer was behind these photos which I have loved for years.

Eve Arnold was by Marilyn's side all the time after an initial meeting when they were both starting out in the career and she photographed her ever since.

This kind of photography is what I like when I want to know more about an icon whom I admire. It shows us their true personality as opposed to all the posing and fake shots which we see so much of these days.
